The Viltrox 27mm f/1.2 is a fast prime lens designed for FUJIFILM X-mount APS-C mirrorless cameras, delivering a 40.5mm full-frame equivalent focal length ideal for portraiture and general-purpose shooting. The lens features a bright f/1.2 maximum aperture that excels in low-light conditions while enabling shallow depth of field for creative subject isolation. Its optical design comprises 15 elements in 11 groups, including two ED elements that minimize chromatic aberrations and maintain sharp, color-accurate images across the entire focusing range.
The lens incorporates a precision STM stepping motor for fast and accurate autofocus with support for eye and face detection, animal autofocus, and manual focus override via an accessible MF/AF switch. Built from all-metal construction with weather-resistant design and metal electronic contacts, the lens is engineered for professional durability and includes a lens hood, USB-C firmware upgrade capability, and a minimum focus distance of 11 inches.
