The Viltrox AF 56mm f/1.7 Z Lens is a compact prime lens designed for Nikon Z-mount mirrorless cameras with a 56mm focal length that provides an 85mm full-frame equivalent, making it well-suited for portrait photography. The lens features a bright f/1.7 maximum aperture that enables excellent depth-of-field control and reliable performance in low-light shooting conditions. Its optical design incorporates four extra-low dispersion elements and three high refractive index elements across eleven total elements in nine groups to minimize optical aberrations and deliver sharp, high-quality images.
The lens employs a nine-bladed diaphragm and includes an STM stepping motor for smooth, quiet autofocus operation with full Exif data transmission capability. At just 187 grams, the lightweight construction makes it an ideal choice for travel and handheld shooting. The lens also features a USB-C port for firmware updates and has a minimum focus distance of 21.7 inches.
