About the 7Artisans 35mm f/1.2 Mark II Lens (Fujifilm X)
The 7Artisans 35mm f/1.2 Mark II is a manual focus prime lens designed for FUJIFILM X-mount mirrorless cameras, providing a 52.5mm equivalent focal length on APS-C-format sensors. The fast f/1.2 maximum aperture enables shallow depth of field control for selective focus techniques and performs well in low-light conditions. This compact lens features a redesigned optical formula with improved sharpness, a multi-layer coating that reduces flare and ghosting, and a rounded 10-blade diaphragm that produces pleasing bokeh characteristics ideal for portraiture.
The lens has a minimum focus distance of 11 inches, depth of field and distance scales for zone focusing techniques, and a manual aperture ring with a range from f/1.2 to f/16. Weighing just 7.7 ounces with a 46mm filter thread, the 7Artisans 35mm f/1.2 Mark II is well-suited for everyday available-light photography and portrait work.
