About the Canon RS-60E3 Remote Switch
The Canon RS-60E3 Remote Switch is a wired remote release for Canon DSLR and mirrorless cameras that connects via a 2-foot cable to the camera's 2.5mm remote terminal. The remote replicates all functions of the camera's shutter release button, allowing you to trigger the shutter without touching the camera body.
This accessory is useful for minimizing vibration during close-up photography, macro work, and long exposure shots where even slight camera movement can affect image sharpness. It is also handy for photographing subjects that are difficult to approach or for compositions where direct access to the camera is impractical.
