The FUJIFILM XF 50mm f/2 R WR is a prime short telephoto lens designed for FUJIFILM X-series APS-C mirrorless cameras, providing a 76mm equivalent focal length suitable for portraiture, still lifes, and general photography. The bright f/2 maximum aperture enables excellent performance in low-light conditions and provides significant control over depth of field for selective focus work. The optical design incorporates one aspherical ED element that minimizes distortion and chromatic aberration, while Super EBC coatings reduce flare and ghosting for improved contrast and color accuracy across the aperture range.
The lens features a stepping motor with internal focusing design that delivers fast and quiet autofocus performance for both still and video applications.
