The Sigma 16-300mm f/3.5-6.7 DC OS Contemporary Lens is an all-in-one zoom designed for APS-C mirrorless cameras with FUJIFILM X mount, providing a 24-450mm equivalent focal length range for handling virtually any shooting situation. The lens features a High-response Linear Actuator for quick autofocus performance and Sigma's OS2 optical stabilization system, which delivers up to 6 stops of compensation at the 16mm wide end and 4.5 stops at the telephoto end for handheld reliability in low-light conditions. Optical quality is enhanced through the use of low dispersion glass elements and four aspherical elements that minimize aberrations, flare, and ghosting while maintaining accurate color rendering throughout the zoom range.
The lens maintains a compact and portable design despite its 18.8x zoom range, measuring 4.8 inches in length and weighing just 1.4 pounds, making it ideal for travel photography. Built-in macro capability reaches 1:2 maximum magnification at the 70mm position, enabling close-up work across the zoom range. The lens is constructed with dust- and splash-resistant seals, a water- and oil-repellant front element coating, and includes a zoom lock switch at the wide end for secure storage.
