About the Sirui Jupiter 28-85mm T3.2 Full Frame Macro Cine Zoom Lens (PL Mount)
The Sirui Jupiter 28-85mm T3.2 Full Frame Macro Cine Zoom Lens is a professional cinema lens with ARRI PL-mount compatibility designed for full-frame sensors. This lens features a focal length range of 28 to 85mm with a constant T3.2 maximum aperture and an aperture range extending to T22, allowing precise control over depth of field for cinematic applications. The optical design comprises 22 elements in 18 groups, which produces smooth, circular bokeh with minimal focus breathing throughout the zoom range.
The lens incorporates cinema-standard 0.8 MOD focus and iris gears for compatibility with follow focus and iris control systems, making it suitable for professional production workflows. It offers a minimum focus distance of 2.3 feet, a 259-degree focus rotation, and a parfocal design that maintains focus throughout the entire zoom range. The lens includes a carrying case with IP67 rating, a set of 10 shims for flange distance adjustment, and dual focus and iris markings in both metric and imperial units.
